Maersk has announced that its Dragon service will be suspended during the upcoming Golden Week holiday in China. The affected vessels are GSL Vinia, 540S/544N.
All cargo previously onboard the northbound 537N will be discharged as planned.
All cargo scheduled for loading on southbound voyages (e.g., Qingdao/Ningbo/Shanghai/Hong Kong/Yantian) will be rescheduled to the following Dragon sailing (GSL Dorothea voyage 541S).
All cargo scheduled for loading on northbound voyage 544N in Australia will be rescheduled to the next Dragon sailing (GSL Dorothea voyage 545N).
Prior to this, MSC also announced its 2025 National Day Golden Week sailing suspension plan for Asia-Europe routes. According to the plan, MSC will cancel some sailings from Weeks 39 to 41 to accommodate the slowdown in export demand during the National Day holiday.
