Recommended Shipowners: COSCO, Datong, Antong, COSCO Shipping, Sinotrans, and Jinjiang Shipping.

South Korea Routes: Freight rates on Incheon Routes will show a slight downward trend in the second half of the month. Busan is still the cheaper port, so ONE Busan is highly recommended. Shipowners recommend Shangang, Datong, Douyu, Pan Ocean, and MCC Shipping.

Summary and Analysis of Africa Routes

Direct voyages to Dar es Rum, East Africa, will see freight rates decrease on August 18th. ASCL is still highly recommended for East Africa. Prices are reasonable and settlement is available. Actual orders will be confirmed separately. Shipowners recommend ASCL/ESL/IAL/KMTC/MSC

South African freight rates continue to rise in the second half of the month. For small heavy containers, consider MSK/MSC. For ultra-light cargo, prioritize EMC/PIL/ONE.

Shipowners recommend MSC/ZIM/ONE/PIL/MSK

West African freight rates are generally declining in the second half of the month. For large-volume cargo orders, shipowners prioritize ZIM/MSC/ONE.

Latin American Route Summary and Analysis

South American freight rates are increasing in the second half of the month! Mansa recommends direct services like ESL/KMTC/SLS. For long-term tenders, please confirm prices separately.

Shipowners recommend ESL/KMTC/MSC/WHL/CMA/YML/ZIM

South American freight rates continue to decline in the second half of the month! For light cargo, prioritize ONE/YML. For large-volume heavy cargo, prioritize MSC.

Caribbean freight rates currently show a slight downward trend in mid-month! For large shipments, pay more attention to MSC prices, which can be applied individually. The PCS surcharge for MSC/ZIM shipments remains normal.

Indian prices saw a slight increase in the second half of the month, remaining relatively stable with minor adjustments until the end of the month.

Middle East prices saw an upward trend in the second half of the month, which is expected to continue until the end of the month.

Red Sea prices are expected to rise at the end of the month, primarily due to cargo receipts.

European Market Analysis

Europe: Overall cargo volumes are relatively low; freight rates have generally declined, but shipping space is available. 34-week shipping space can still be arranged, and there is a lot of available space available. Currently, due to declining market volumes, shipping lines are offering special offers for specific commodities, and large shipments can apply for special offers individually.

MSK offline shipping is on the 26th, and prices are declining. Based on the overall offline space availability, large shipments are not recommended. Individual shipments should negotiate for space in advance. For those without containers and requiring a physical order, apply for online space and book normally; space is not fully booked.

MSC Europe service prices have been reduced, with slots available as early as 22nd, valid until the end of the month. It’s recommended to reserve space two weeks in advance for a safer start. ONE European space continues to be available for the second half of the month. If you have any needs, please spread the word and actively increase your volume.

EMC prices have been reduced, with slots available as early as 34 weeks. For large orders, please inquire individually and apply for special pricing.

Regarding overall cargo demand, OA vessel space is open, and ONE is accepting cargo at a special price. For those with specific cargo or firm orders, please contact us in advance to secure space and prioritize cargo collection.

Preferred European carriers: ONE, MSK, and MSC (light cargo preferred).

For those requiring timeliness and direct, fast shipping, COSCO and EMC are preferred. (OOCL’s online container locker service can accommodate customers who prefer not to be dropped off).

If you have cargo, please contact us and actively load it.

Mediterranean Market Analysis

Mediterranean: Prices will be updated frequently before the end of August, and all vessels will offer discounted rates. Currently, there is ample space available for cargo. Prices have been lowered, and small shipments can be allocated to MSC. You can reserve space in advance to secure space.

Westbound: MSC and ZIM continue to offer significant service advantages. Large shipments can be accommodated on vessel No. 21, and individual freight rates can be applied.

North Africabound: Freight rates are at the same level as COSCO T1, maintaining volume. Please actively load cargo.

Eastbound: Overall demand is low, and prices are continuously adjusting. SLS has a fast sailing time, and direct fast vessels are preferred in this month, but there are currently no sailings at the end of the month. ZIM Mediterranean has continued to receive cargo on August 22nd, and cargo is available for negotiation with flexible pricing.

WHL services will add Alexandria/Mersin ports in August, offering faster sailings, lower prices, and cost-effective shipping. Direct services are expected to be added in September. Qingdao only requires a stopover in Shekou, resulting in a shorter voyage and significant price advantages. Please stay tuned for updates.

Advantageous shipowners: Slower MSC vessels and shorter transit vessels are recommended, followed by WHL vessels (some direct services).

For direct fast vessels east of Egypt, the preferred option is VOLTA, followed by ZIM, ASCL, Turkish Shipping, CUL, etc.
